The short version

PenSound does not collect, store, or share any personal data. We don't track you, we don't profile you, and we don't sell anything about you — because we don't have anything to sell.

What we collect

PenSound operates entirely on your device. The app reads tablet input (pressure, speed, tilt) locally to generate sound, and this data never leaves your Mac. The only information we process is what's strictly necessary to validate your license — handled securely through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy.

License validation

When you activate PenSound with a license key, the key is verified against Lemon Squeezy's servers. No additional personal information is transmitted beyond what you provided at the time of purchase. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy applies to that transaction and can be found at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
